Diving in Gili Meno
I can't stop smiling and talking about our diving trip from Gili Meno this week. Three dives wasn't enough. It was incredible. I didn't want to leave. It's the first time I've been tempted to run away and train to be a diving instructor... Joking, I'm happy exploring the world through diving holidays.
We dived with Blue Marlin who were terrific and I can't recommend them enough. They run three dives per day: 9am, 11:30am, 2:30pm. The boat goes back to the shop between each dive so you can have a break between dives and attend as many as you like. Some people joined for one or two dives. We stayed for all three because we had limited time on the island. The instructors were very helpful and knowledgable. There were lots of people to help when getting ready. It was quick and smooth transaction from the shop to under water, leaving us to concentrate on enjoying our dives. Fantastic day.
We saw tonnes of turtles, clown fish, bat fish, butterfly fish, nudibranchs, moray eel, cuttle fish, manta shrimp and lots more. Here are some photos:
